The Chamber will be kicking off the holiday shopping season the Saturday
after Thanksgiving Day. All merchants, business owners, service organizations,
and community organizations are invited to participate. Contact the Chamber

Your Website
The Rutherford Chamber of Commerce is looking for
great ways to help your business grow! When you join, you business will be
hosted for FREE! A one page site will be listed and linked from the Rutherford
Chamber of Commerce website - giving your business FREE advertising and
exposure. If you already have a website, we will list and link that site for
FREE as well.
Each member will need to provide their own
information and the material for their own page; including text and any
photographs. Minimal quarterly updates will be provided FREE of charge!
There are no contracts to sign and you will always
be free to move your website.

Welcome Shopping Bags
Chamber shopping bags are filled with merchant information and discounts,
along with important Borough of Rutherford schedules and are distributed to new
homeowners.

We would like to introduce you to the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce and
explore what we can do for you. The Chamber sponsors several projects
designed to promote your business and help it grow.
Our Mission is to improve and enhance the business community of our area and
to help our members prosper. The Chamber serves as a catalyst for economic
success of it's members, our borough and the surrounding communities; providing
opportunities for growth, leadership, community partnerships and a voice for the
business community.
Member Benefits
New Resident Welcome Programs: Each new homeowner is given a tote bag
filled with merchant information and/or discounts. You can include any
promotional material you would like - flyers, pens or calendars, for example.
Your options are limited only by your imagination.
Chamber Website: Our state of the art website provides information on
member activities, business resources, clubs, organization and transportation.
It is also linked to the Rutherford Municipal Website, thereby increasing our
exposure in the community. Members receive an opportunity to design their
own web page and can make changes on a monthly basis. If you have an
existing website, we will list and link to it. Display your products and
services, have sales, have fun and make money.
Promotions and Events
Annual Holiday Parade: Kicks off the holiday season,

Holiday Ad Journal: $25.00 discount to Chamber members when they advertise
in the holiday journal.
Holiday Newspaper Ad: The Chamber takes a full page ad in the South
Bergenite detailing all our members.
Parade Festivities: Honor our Citizen of the Year. ever year the
Chamber selects an outstanding citizen from the community. the person
selected is also our parade Grand Marshal.
Business Networking Opportunities: We host business-to-business get
togethers. A great way to Network! Meet and greet your fellow
Chamber members and potential clients/customers, exchange ideas, etc.
Complimentary wine and cheese served
Business Referrals: Each year the Chamber receives 100's of requests for
area information, including business referrals.
